📘 What is Ilm-ul-Adad?

Ilm-ul-Adad, also known as the Science of Numbers in Islamic tradition, is a spiritual system that connects letters of the Arabic and Urdu alphabets with specific numeric values. This ancient discipline is used to explore a person’s character, destiny, and spiritual inclinations through numerical analysis.

Islamic scholars and Sufi mystics have used Ilm-ul-Adad for centuries in practices such as numerology, dream interpretation, spiritual healing, and the analysis of sacred names (Asma-ul-Husna). At the core of this science lies the Abjad system, which assigns numeric values to each letter. For example, the letter ‘ا’ (Alif) is given the value of 1, while ‘ی’ (Yaa) is 10.

By calculating the total numeric value of a person’s name and birth date, one can derive a Divine Code or spiritual number. This code reveals key aspects of one’s personality, strengths, challenges, and spiritual energy.
